Southern Africa Enterprise Conference in NYC

A conference, presented by non-profit organization Angel Africa, highlighting the investment climate in southern Africa touches down in New York City on September 18 at Hotel Pennsylvania.

It will showcase the latest economic developments that make this region a stand-out region for investment and entrepreneurship following the region's historic hosting of the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup. There will be a session dedicated to providing an overview of the business climate in Southern Africa, highlighting various sectors in SADC, the legal framework to facilitate trade and investment.

Other sessions will feature a more in-depth discussion for sectors such as banking and capital markets, mining, technology, education, agribusiness and fashion. Throughout the day, business tips, mentoring and one-on-one meetings with entrepreneurs and mentors will be possible and are encouraged.

US-based professionals in various industries that focus on or have US-African trade, business executives of successful regional companies and social entrepreneurs will share their vision, experience and thoughts about the future of the region.
